There is a difference in what we can see in nature concerning color versus what the pigments in our paints can create. There is also a difference between what we can see in nature and what our TVs, computer monitors, tablets, and smartphones can reproduce. When painting from life, a computer monitor, or a photograph, you can not create the same colors in the same luminances that we can see with our physical eye when using our paints.
